Based close to Luton Town Centre, Maclachlan International Limited is England’s premier retailer of Scottish Highland Dress and Pipe Band Supplies, including uniforms.  We also offer Kilt Hire in a broad range of tartans at highly competitive prices.

We have many years experience in Highland wear and can offer expert advice when choosing a highland outfit; which tartans are appropriate, the correct accessories and how to correctly wear highland dress. Customers are welcome to visit our shop to be correctly measured, whether to buy or hire, and for those who have never worn a kilt, we have an extensive range in stock that can be tried on for size!

For solo pipers and pipe bands, we have expertise in bagpipes and bagpipe maintenance. We stock a comprehensive range in bagpipe maintenance items, piping and drumming accessories, including reeds, music books, practice pads and chanters, drum sticks etc.  We also stock a range of CDs and DVDs featuring soloist pipers and pipe bands.

We are here to help and specialise in offering a personal service to all our customers.

Ordering

The catalogue section of our site is hosted on a secure server and all credit card details are sent to us in encrypted format and can only be decrypted by our servers. Payment for goods is not taken until they are ready for despatch, which is normally within 72 hours (excludes made to measure items such as Kilts and Jackets).

If the item you have ordered is out of stock or awaiting casting, you will be notified by e-mail within 72 hours and you will have the option to have the goods placed on back order or to cancel the order.

Carriage

For small orders we ship by registered post in the UK and Swift Air Recorded to the US (5-7 day service).

For larger orders we have accounts with all the major carriers, including UPS, DHL and Parcel Force and we will ship using the most cost effective method for your area..

We ship large quantities of goods with all the carriers, through Viking Technology and other parts of our business and as such have negotiated highly competitive discount rates. These discounts are passed across to you, the customer and we charge only the cost price of shipping the goods.

Pricing

Whilst all prices on our site are quoted in US dollars, your card will be debited in UK pounds Sterling. Due to fluctuating exchange rates, the price may differ slightly on your statement.

Returns Policy

If for any reason you are unsatisfied with the quality of your goods, we offer a full refund policy. Exludes items which require special order material for kilts and other clan crested product made specially to order.
